OUR CURRICULUM
At Seera Academy, our Islamic Studies curriculum is designed to nurture students’ faith, knowledge, and character while helping them develop a lifelong connection with Allah (SWT). Through engaging lessons and age-appropriate learning, students build a strong Islamic identity founded on authentic teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Curriculum Areas
Our comprehensive Islamic curriculum focuses on the following core areas:
- Qur’an & Tajweed – Developing the ability to read the Qur’an correctly, memorize selected Surahs, and apply the basic rules of Tajweed for proper recitation.
- Islamic Studies – Building a solid understanding of essential Islamic knowledge, including:
- Aqeedah (Islamic Belief): Learning the fundamentals of faith, the Oneness of Allah, belief in the Angels, Prophets, Divine Books, and other pillars of Iman.
- Fiqh (Islamic Practice): Understanding the practical aspects of worship and daily life, including purification (Wudu), Salah (prayer), and essential Islamic rulings appropriate for each age group.
- Seerah (Life of the Prophet ﷺ): Studying the life, character, and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, along with inspiring stories of the other Prophets.
- Akhlaq (Islamic Character): Cultivating noble manners and Islamic values such as honesty, respect, kindness, compassion, responsibility, and good citizenship.
- Arabic Language – Developing foundational Arabic reading skills while building vocabulary and language comprehension to support Qur’anic understanding and Islamic learning.
Our Goal
Our aim is to provide students with a balanced Islamic education that strengthens their faith, deepens their understanding of Islam, and inspires them to live according to Islamic values in their daily lives. Through knowledge, worship, and good character, we strive to prepare students to become confident Muslims who positively contribute to their families, communities, and society.

Noorani Qaida is a foundational booklet designed to teach beginners and children how to read the Quran with correct Arabic pronunciation (Tajweed). Authored by Sheikh Noor Muhammad Haqqani, it uses a step-by-step method (typically 16–17 lessons) to master the alphabet, joint letters, and vowel movements
