At UVA, the Micro Academy serves as an innovative concept created as a direct response to requests from our students, parents, and educators to increase student engagement and social interaction and provide additional learning coach support which are all necessary to ensure the academic success of our students.
The Micro Academy provides students with all the above items in a small setting while maintaining access to high-quality online learning provided by Louisiana-certified teachers. Whether fostering creativity, critical thinking, or a love for learning, UVA’s Micro Academy aims to prove that sometimes, smaller really is better.

Full-Time Accredited School (K–12)
In partnership with University View Academy, our full-time K–12 program provides a state-accredited education that meets all academic requirements while integrating Islamic values into the learning experience. Students benefit from a challenging curriculum, dedicated educators, and a supportive environment where they are encouraged to achieve academic excellence, develop strong character, and become compassionate, responsible leaders.
Afternoon Islamic Enrichment Program
Our Afternoon Islamic Program offers students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Islam in a welcoming and engaging environment. Through Qur’an recitation and memorization, Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Tarbiyah (character development), daily congregational prayers, and meaningful discussions, students strengthen their faith while developing the values and habits of practicing Muslims.
Weekend & Supplementary Islamic School
Our Weekend and Supplementary Islamic School is designed for students attending public, charter, or private schools who wish to enrich their Islamic education. Classes focus on Qur’an reading and memorization, Aqidah (Islamic creed), Fiqh (acts of worship), Seerah (the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), Islamic manners, and practical lessons that help students confidently apply Islamic values in their everyday lives.
